RECAP: MFWF TASTE OF ASIA

What do you get when you bring together some of the bigwigs in Melbourne's Asian dining sphere under the one roof? Coda, Lucy Liu, Mama's Buoi, Sake Restaurant and Bar, and Spice Temple to rattle off some names. One super tasty Asian feast, that's what, and all in the name of charity.

Held as part of the 2018 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival (MFWF), Taste of Asia treated guests to a menu of dishes from the aforementioned restaurants while aiming to raise awareness and funds for the Blue Dragon Children's Foundation. The charity supports disadvantaged youths and victims of human trafficking and slavery in Vietnam, helping over 50000 children and their families to date. The event took place at the stunning space that is South Melbourne's Luminare, with a beautiful sunset the cherry on top of a great evening filled with a delicious Asian spread.

Disclosure: I attended the event as a guest of Taste of Asia.
