EAT: HOMI NOODLE BAR NEW MENU LAUNCH
The folks at Homi Noodle Bar have dished the goods again with their new menu, featuring several exciting dishes to add to existing favourites. Lighter dishes like the Kingfish ceviche and salmon tacos were silky fresh, bursting with flavour and topped with a gorgeous delicate crunch. Excellent picks for the warmer weather. And of course with Melbourne’s four season in a day, there are also some heartier options for the cooler days that call for comfort food. All eyes on the ramenara; a Japanese play on the humble carbonara, featuring ramen noodles with a creamy and umami miso carbonara sauce. Juicy bursts from the tobiko rounded out the flavours nicely. And luckily for us, some old favourites also made an appearance; you absolutely cannot go wrong with the finger licking delicious Southern fried chicken sandwiched between some light, fluffy bao buns, teamed with a serving of crispy tater thots. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Winner, winner, chicken lunch.
Kingfish ceviche - with kingfish, chilli, cucumber and coconut cream.
Salmon taco - with salmon, apple salsa and guacamole.
Mini fried chicken bao - with Southern style fried chicken, garlic gochujang glaze and burger slaw.
Non stop cocktail jug - with peach schnapps, vodka, elderflower and mint.
Ramenara - with miso carbonara sauce, nori, tobiko, mushrooms and ramen.
