The recently released second edition of Smudge Eats' Speciality Coffee Melbourne is a gorgeous publication that celebrates Melbourne's vibrant coffee culture and cafe scene.
For many of us, there's quite a bit to learn about the humble cup of joe, and Specialty Coffee Melbourne takes readers on the journey of bean to brew. Learn all about the various flavours, origins and the methods used to brew and roast coffee, before exploring over 120 of Melbourne's best coffee providers. And where there is coffee, there is also usually brunch, and some of the best brunch dishes are also highlighted in the book. See below for snapshots from the launch event, which took place at one of the featured cafes, Axil Coffee Roasters. Guests were treated to canape versions of some of their signature dishes and pastries, all washed down with a cup (or two) of coffee.
