RECAP: PARIS TO PROVENCE, COCO AT COMO PREVIEW
For one weekend each year, Melbourne's Paris to Provence festival takes place to celebrate all things French and fabulous. There's of course the usual champagne and assortment of delicious French goodies, but this year's festival also saw the celebration of French fashion designer Coco Chanel with the Coco at Como exhibit.
While the festival has taken place at the iconic Como House and Garden for some years now, 2017 was the first time visitors could enter the house to see the Coco at Como exhibition; taking guests through the journey of Coco Chanel's life, all the while marvelling at the beautiful transformations of the Boudoir, Grand Ballroom and Billiards room and original Chanel pieces.
Chanel, champagne and cheese; it was an exquisite preview to 2017's Paris to Provence Festival, and while I wasn't able to make it to the actual festival, I've marked it in my calendar for 2018.
Disclosure: I attended the Coco at Como preview event as a guest.
