RECAP: BARILLA @ THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN
Tennis fans can now enjoy a serve of Barilla's pasta at this year's Australian Open with Barilla's Master of Pasta pop up restaurant and a series of authentic and tasty Italian pasta dishes created by Executive Chef Andrea Tranchero.
Located just outside Rod Laver Arena in Garden Square, Australian Open goers can enjoy dishes such as penne rigate with chicken ragu, mushroom and pecorino, tortiglini with eggplant, olives and dry ricotta or spaghetti with swordfish, calamari and prawns in Arrabiata sauce among other options. And in case you're one of those who thinks that warm weather and pasta don't really go hand in hand, the cold fusilli salad with pesto Genovese and salmon serves as a great option for the scorchers. Although my pick of the spaghetti still went down a treat even with the 42 degree weather on the day of visit.
